Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using getveyr.com (“the Service”), operated by Ali Karim, a private individual based in Passeig de la Verneda 97, Barcelona, Spain, doing business as VEYR (“we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VEYR is an early-stage Recruiting Intelligence Platform under the product name Beacon, including employee-shareable content cards, public career pages, AI-powered candidate engagement, pre-qualification screening, scenario-based assessments (Pulse), and candidate dossier generation. Commercial registration will be completed upon first paid customer.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe intellectual property rights; (c) transmit malicious code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (e) use the Service to discriminate unlawfully in hiring decisions; (f) overload, disrupt, or impair the Service.

5. AI-Assisted Decision Making

Beacon uses AI to assist with candidate screening and assessment. AI outputs are recommendations only. The user (employer) remains solely responsible for all hiring decisions. The Service does not make hiring decisions on your behalf and is not a substitute for human judgment, fair-employment review, or compliance with applicable anti-discrimination law.

6. Customer Data & Privacy

You retain ownership of all candidate and employee data you upload (“Customer Data”). We process Customer Data on your behalf as a processor under the GDPR, solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Price changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, and trademarks, is the property of VEYR and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription. You retain all rights to your Customer Data.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages may occur. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime beyond what is set out in section 10.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VEYR’s total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates legal or security risk. After termination, personal data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Barcelona, Spain · without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
